Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to the United States, Ms Sherry Rehman called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here at the PM House on Wednesday and discussed matters pertaining to her diplomatic assignment in USA. Ms Sherry Rehman, who is leaving for USA soon to assume her diplomatic assignment there, sought guidance from the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister said that she should espouse the cause of Pakistan’s diplomatic interests in USA keeping in view the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security to be adopted by the Parliament. Prime Minister Gilani reposed his full confidence in her and added that she would prove herself worthy of the challenging assignment.
