Panetta statement reduces space for narrowing differences: SherryRehman
WASHINGTON, June 7 (APP) – In response to a media queryabout the remarks made by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Pakistan’s Ambassadorin Washington SherryRehman said “This kind of public messaging from a senior member of theUS Administration is taken very seriously in Pakistan, and reduces the spacefornarrowing our bilateral differences at a critical time in the negotiations.“ “It adds an unhelpful twist to the process and leaves little oxygen for thoseof us seeking to break a stalemate, “ she added.
