ISLAMABAD - Pakistan’s envoy to US Sherry Rehman Thursday said no compromise would be made on country’s sovereignty.
Sherry was talking to media at Islamabad airport upon her arrival. She said recommendations by the parliament would help restore confidence between two countries.
She further said that decision on NATO supply routes would be made innational interest of the country. The Pakistani Ambassador said that US Congressman resolution on Balochistan has no importance. Sherry once again reiterated that the US drone attacks were not acceptable.
She said that there was a perception growing in US that Pakistan is changing.
“Decision regarding the restoration of Nato supplies would be taken by Parliament adding that the decision would be based on National interest†she said.
The ambassador said that Pakistan want relations with US based on mutual interests.
